OK, let’s just kick this article off and say this product works. I have been wearing my walking trousers for all walks this year as I found my legs kept getting stung and bitten so I was delighted to receive some samples from the new Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard range of essentials and get my walking shorts back on.

I did get stung by nettles quite badly and at one point I had convinced myself that it was a snake bite because I couldn’t see my legs through the greenery and it really hurt. When I had cleared the crop of nettles I looked for two spots of blood on my leg but couldn’t find anything and after a few minutes the stinging stopped so it obviously wasn’t a snake afterall. In my defence I had walked about 10 miles at that stage and it was really hot so my mind was wandering all over the place! Normally a day or so after the walk the stings get really itchy but not only did I not get bitten by anything, the Avon Bug Guard appeared to have taken all the sting out of the nettles too, so I didn’t even get any itches from the nettles.
