We parked by Barham Church and then walked down the lane through the village passing the Duke of Cumberland pub.

We then walked left along Valley Road all the way until it joined Derringstone Hill where we walked left up Mill Lane.

We continued our walk to the footpath on the right and followed the track up to the road crossing another field to the next road where we walked through Walderchain Wood all the way up, keeping left at the fork, until we reached the T-junction.
