Walks And Walking – Barham Walk In Kent
We parked by Barham Church and then walked down the lane through the village passing the Duke of Cumberland pub.
We then walked left along Valley Road all the way until it joined Derringstone Hill where we walked left up Mill Lane.
We continued our walk to the footpath on the right and followed the track up to the road crossing another field to the next road where we walked through Walderchain Wood all the way up, keeping left at the fork, until we reached the T-junction.

We then walked left taking the footpath on the left that forked right all the way to Broome Park Hotel where we then walked between the various lodges to the hotel drive.
We continued our walk passed the front of the main building up to the 1st tee where we then followed the way markers across the fairway to the next waymarker to the right of the trees.
We then crossed the next fairway to the stile which lead in to a field where we continued our walk on the left hand side of the field edge with Barham Church now coming back in to view.
We continued our walk following the main track to the road where we kept ahead and then walked right and crossed the stile on the left where we then walked all the way to the cemetery through a beautiful poppy field and back to the road where we had parked the car.
