HF Holidays 4 Mile Family Circular Walk From Holnicote House

HF Holidays 4 Mile Family Circular Walk From Holnicote House

This was our first walk during our week at Holnicote House with HF Holidays.

It was a 4 mile family circular walk from Holnicote House to Selworthy Green and through woodlands to Porlock and then back through woodlands to the house.

Our HF Holidays walk leader today was Richard and after a quick outline of our walk we set off from the Boot Room to cross the road and walk up to Selworthy Green, which is a perfectly preserved National Trust set of stunning cottages and tea rooms.

After a brief stop for the children we continued our walk uphill to the white church, with fabulous views out across Exmoor National Park, where Richard ran through some of the history of the area.
