Salomon Quest 4D 2 GTX Men’s Hiking Boot Review
Salomon Quest 4D 2 GTX Men’s Hiking Boot Review
The Salomon Quest 4D 2 GTX Men’s Hiking Boot is absolutely perfect for a spot of day hiking in the rolling hills of Kent!
A fabulous fit with an ergonomic design. These Salomon Quest 4D 2 GTX hiking boots glide your feet easily into the comfort of a waterproof, breathable Gore-TEX performance membrane.
Once inside you feel incredibly sure footed and stable. The Salomon Quest 4D 2 include Ortholite insoles with padded heal and ankle support. There’s plenty of wriggle room for your toes but without the fear of them rubbing anywhere or getting blisters.
They look amazing too! Very stylish with super strong laces and a protective mud guard material around the base of the boot, as well as non-marking Contragrip. The boots grip just as well as my vibram ones and from experience they do last for years. I certainly haven’t had any problems with them before.
As with all walking boots I broke them in gently. First on a simple mile walk around a park, then a 3 mile walk and then an 8 mile hike and they have been absolutely fine.
I have another pair of Salomon Quest walking boots which, after 6 years loyal service, are now going to be retired and replaced by these ones for the rest of the summer and into autumn. These are definitely the sort of boots that motivate you to walk as they feel so great to wear and fit brilliantly.
The Salomon Quest 4D 2 GTX Men’s Hiking Boots are currently available for £149 at Millet Sports.
If you’ve always been a bit baffled about what boots to buy these updated Salomon Quest hiking boots are a walkers boot room staple – excellent stability, incredibly lightweight and more durable for longer hikes with laces that stay tied all day!
