I decided to start writing a blog about my love and passion for walking, after all everywhere is walking distance if you have the time!

Walking has helped me to reduce the stress and strain of everyday life and really helps to clear the mind.
To make this blog more interesting and informative I have included more practical advice rather than intricate maps and exact walking routes. I find that exploration and finding your own way along a well trodden path makes the walk far more interesting.
I have had many great experiences and seen some beautiful scenery as well as enjoying the benefits of fun, health and fitness.
